Infrastructure and Accessibility

Our main market is in Block 3, Industrial, Gaborone, strategically positioned to serve local farmers and buyers.

The Market will soon expand beyond Gaborone by establishing collection centres across Botswana, strategically located in key agricultural hotspots such as Francistown, Ghanzi, Maun, Selebi Phikwe, Mahalapye, Letlhakane and others. These centers will be equipped with modern infrastructure, including cold storage, buying points, and packaging facilities. Farmers in these regions will be able to deliver their produce to these centres, where it will be graded, sorted, and transported to Gaborone. These centres will help ensure that farmers in rural areas have direct access to the market, creating a more inclusive horticultural economy.

The current set up is transitional, Letsema Market will move to a permanent, purpose-built facility. This new market will not only include additional processing facilities but also farmer shops, creating a one-stop shop for horticultural needs. This vision will enable the development of a fully integrated, self-sustaining horticulture industry in Botswana, setting the foundation for long-term growth and prosperity.
